A notoriously haunted Massachusetts mansion with a long history of paranormal activity has gone on the market for $1.2 million. According to a local media report, the spooky site in the city of Gardner was built in 1875 by furniture magnate Sylvester K. Pierce. Almost immediately, the 7,000-square-foot estate was the site of tragedy as the businessman's wife, Susan, passed away only a few weeks after the family had taken up residence in the mansion.
